The new communicators ensure current and future compatibility with more modern cellular networks as mobile providers have started to phase out their legacy 2G/3G communication networks.

The DSC family of LTE Universal Alarm Communicators provides compatibility with most security panels offered in the market today, ensuring a smooth transition to LTE. The PowerSeries Neo LTE Alarm Communicator ensures high-speed, reliable communications now and into the future by providing cellular and/or IP connectivity, in addition to the encrypted PowerG wireless technology used by PowerSeries Neo.


Johnson Controls takes access control and security to the next level with enhanced scheduling and account maintenance

MILWAUKEE (March 6, 2018) – Johnson Controls introduces the latest version of its Kantech EntraPass Security Software with new features developed to streamline scheduling and account maintenance.

Available in EntraPass Corporate and Global Editions, operators managing premise access control can add to security capabilities by creating actions and tasks on a daily, weekly or monthly basis with the new Action Scheduler under the Operation menu. The Action Scheduler is ideal for locations where meetings can happen at sporadic times such as town halls or other types of special events.


ONVIF Joins Access Control Panel Discussion at TechSec Solutions 2018

Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Secure College of Medicine with Software House C•CURE 9000

Johnson Controls introduces C•CURE Go Install app from Software House

MILWAUKEE (January 9, 2017) – Johnson Controls announces the introduction of the C•CURE Go Install app for use with the Software House iSTAR Ultra LT. The new app provides a more efficient, convenient means of configuring or updating information on the iSTAR Ultra LT controller without having to physically access the unit.

Working with an embedded Bluetooth antenna that can be turned on and off remotely to ensure network security, users simply log into the C•CURE Go Install app to perform a host of tasks, including configuring the network settings on the controller, rebooting the device and checking its status. The app is ideal for use with iSTAR Ultra LT controllers that are difficult to access for manual configuration, such as units located high above doorways or behind ceiling tiles.

ONVIF Hosts 17th Annual Developers’ Plugfest

SAN RAMON, Calif. – November 29, 2017. ONVIF®, the leading global standardization initiative for IP-based physical security products, hosted its 17th ONVIF Developers’ Plugfest in early November in Seoul, South Korea – the group’s second largest plugfest ever and the largest in the past five years. With multiple testings of ONVIF conformant products, the Developers’ Plugfest included interoperability testing for all six ONVIF profiles, including prototypes for the Release Candidate of Profile T for advanced streaming. Engineers and developers from 23 ONVIF member companies gathered at the members only event to test their implementations of ONVIF Profiles with other ONVIF Profile-conformant products, with 20 members testing their prototypes of the Release Candidate for Profile T.
